MULTI-USE Kitchen Remodel

The design and remodel of this beautiful Chestnut Hill home embraces all the functions that had evolved in the kitchen. Besides creating an efficient cooking space, the design included a practical mudroom area, a small bar and cozy fireplace seating and gathering spot. A long island was divided between cooking and dining, with the change in finishes helping to break the long narrow feel of the room. Crisp white customs cabinets along with pale blue, beige, and soft wood tones made the new kitchen a bright, subtle companion to the home's many antiques and paintings.
